Meet the founders
of DTLA Visuals

DTLA Visuals was founded in 2021 by Nadeer and Ivanna, a duo combining creative vision with branding insight.

With a background in architectural design, Ivanna focuses on atmosphere and emotion. Nadeer, an experienced e-commerce founder, brings a deep understanding of brand storytelling and presentation.

Together, they’ve created spaces that serve both high-level campaigns and personal milestones — all grounded in a shared belief that thoughtful design makes room for real connection.

Ivanna

Ivanna graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor’s in Architecture from Cal Poly Pomona. Her design expertise derived from working in several architecture firms including Johnston Marklee, F-ARE, and KB Home.

Ivanna quickly realized many of the local studio spaces lacked unique and quality designs. Each DTLA Visuals studio allows the user to feel moved and inspired to create when they enter. The spaces are designed keeping in mind how a user would move throughout the space as well as contains designer and vintage furniture. The gal is not to have trendy pieces but instead timeless and luxurious pieces.

Q. When is your favorite time of day to shoot?
A. I am a morning person and love the clean natural light morning photoshoots have.

Q. What has been your favorite moment at DTLA Visuals?
There isn’t one specific moment, however recently our expansion of 4 new studios was not easy. However, it was very exciting to see my sketches come to life with the help of others. I LOVE incorporating curves in my designs and was very happy to meet a team who was willing to make them come to life in many of the studios.

Nadeer

Nadeer owns multiple e-commerce brands which play a key role in his understanding of high-quality branding being necessary to promote client success.

Nadeer graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor’s in Business and Real Estate. Over the last several years he has been managing his private label brands from A-Z knowing the process of designing a product, branding, and customer acquisition.

Excellent visual imagery is key to business success. Nadeer understands the importance of producing high-quality content and incorporates this into each studio in the design stage.

Q. What ahs been your favorite moment at DTLA Visuals?
A. My favorite part of the company has been location scouting. It took us almost 2 years to find a location that worked with our vision. We found a building that we saw great potential in however was neglected. We completely transformed a floor. All our new studios were created from scratch and after almost a year of renovating, turned out amazing.

Q. What is your favorite furniture or design moment in the studios?
It is hard to choose one! I would have to choose our recent custom curved seating build-out in our Japandi Inspired Studio. It’s over 13′ long and was not easy to find a person to build it as we wished. Eventually, it turned out perfect. I also like our three arch wall feature in our Minimalist Warmth Studio. The arched really helped differentiate the spaces within the studio while also allowing movement.

DTLA Visuals is located in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles and specializes on photo/film studios that could be best used for the following:

Commercial and Print Photography, Social Media Content, Filming, Fashion Photography, E-commerce Product Shots, Podcast, Interviews, Fitness Photoshoots & Videos, Apparel Shoot, Head Shots, Lingerie Shoot, TV Series and more.

Photographers, models, and production assistants can be provided as well to further help make your vision to life.

With a passion for architecture and interior design, DTLA Visuals was founded by Nadeer and Ivanna. With a B.Arch from CalPoly Pomona, Ivanna is inspired to create elevating spaces that play with shapes and textures. Nadeer owns multiple e-commerce brands which plays a key role in understanding high quality branding to promote client success. Since its 2021 launch date, DTLA Visuals has been a part of many high-level brand campaigns as well as enjoyed by many every-day individuals that need a special place to capture memories.
